물결은 마치 어두운 감정을 흘려 보내고 새로운 안식을 주는 것 같다. 나는 지친 현대인들이 현실을 잠시 접어두고 이 마스크를 통해 평온함을 느낄 수 있기를 바라며 이 작품을 진행하였다. 물결의 이미지를 리서치 하면서 실, 노끈, 필름지, 철사 등의 재료를 가지고 직조를 하여 마스크를 시도해보았다. 잔잔하지만 생동감 넘치는 강물의 흐름을 상징화하고자 화려한 컬러를 입혔다.

The flow seems to let dark emotions in the outflow and give new rest. I made this work with the hope that weary people can put the reality aside for a while and feel tranquillity through this mask. As I researched the image of low, I attempted to make this mask by weaving materials of string, thread, film, wire etc. I added vivid colours to symbolise the river flow that is tranquil yet full of vitality.
